Welcome to the family-run EL GRECO Restaurant, in beautiful Lentas, in southern Crete.

The story of EL GRECO began in 1994. Since then, for more than 30 years, our family has been welcoming guests from Greece and all over the world, offering good food, genuine Cretan hospitality and a unique view over the bay of Lentas.

At EL GRECO, our love for traditional Cretan cuisine is at the heart of everything we do. We choose simple, authentic flavours and carefully selected local ingredients, always respecting the rich culinary traditions of Crete. Our dishes are inspired by the principles of the Cretan diet, where quality ingredients and simple preparation come together to create flavours that stay with you.

Fresh fish and seafood have a special place in our kitchen, along with traditional daily dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and excellent Cretan olive oil. Our aim is for every dish we serve to reflect the authentic flavours and character of Crete.

Over the years, EL GRECO has become a favourite place for many visitors to Lentas. Many of our guests who discovered us years ago continue to return, often bringing their families with them. This trust and continued support from our guests is our greatest recognition and our strongest motivation to keep doing what we love.

We are located at the southern end of the village, in a unique position right above the sea, with stunning views over the Libyan Sea and the picturesque bay of Lentas. The characteristic Lion's Hill and the lush landscape surrounding the restaurant create a beautiful setting for your lunch or dinner.

In the evenings, locals and visitors come together at EL GRECO to enjoy good food, a glass of wine or raki, and special moments in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. For us, a meal is about more than just food; it is about good company, hospitality, the view and the moments we share with you.

From 1994 to the present day, we remain a family-run business with the same love for Lentas, Crete and our traditions. Our goal is for every guest to leave EL GRECO with wonderful memories and the desire to return.
